Founded by Kimberly Redhead, Principal and Co-Founder, the school grew from her lifelong passion for early childhood education. After completing her Montessori training and gaining years of experience as an educator, supervisor and director across Canada and the United States, Kimberly set out to create a learning environment that combines strong Montessori foundations with warmth, creativity and care.
In 2000, Creative Children’s Montessori School opened it’s first location, dedicated to fostering growth through structure, encouragement and independent exploration. Building on that foundation, the school expanded in 2010 to it’s current Bolton location, which now serves 112 children.

As the school expanded, Kimberly partnered with Shireen Alibhai to bring this vision to the Bolton community. Shireen began her Montessori journey in the United Kingdom before completing her training in Canada & has since developed a deep passion for supporting children in their most important developmental years. As a qualified Montessori Educator, Principal & co-owner she is cognitive of the trust families place in an educational facility & the importance of creating a nurturing & engaging environment.

Our Commitment
Together Kimberly and Shireen are committed to providing a genuine Montessori education to children allowing them to feel valued, confident and inspired to learn. Their combined experience and innate love of children continue to shape the positive and welcoming environment families experience every day at CCMS.
Our philosophy
Our approach is built on three core principles that guide how children learn, grow and thrive.

Child-Led Learning
We believe every child is naturally curious and capable. By allowing children to explore at their own pace and follow their interests, they build confidence, independence and a genuine love for learning.

Guided, Supportive Environment
Our educators guide rather than instruct.
By observing and supporting each child, we create a calm, respectful environment where children grow socially, emotionally and independently.

Learning Through Experience
Children learn best by doing, not memorizing.
Through hands-on activities and meaningful experiences, they develop problem-solving skills, stay engaged and build real understanding.
Creating a world of unlimited possibilities and exploration.
Through our approach, children gain:
Confidence and curiosity
Independence and creativity
Strong social & communication skills
Holistic learning
Cultural Studies: Zoology, Botany, Practical Life skills, Geography, History, Science and Art
Academics: Math and Language
