The goal of the Montessori Toddler environment at CCMS is to encourage intrinsic motivation and spontaneous activity with the students and the preparation for the CASA environment.
The Toddler Program within Creative Children’s Montessori School is one that provides the students the opportunity of learning in a Montessori Environment that is lead by both Early Childhood Educators and Montessori Teachers.
The students develop a joy of learning which complements their development of order, concentration and control of movement. Each interaction with the children is with the intention of eliciting language development, not forgetting the skill of oral communication.
The students learn independence, problem solving and respect for themselves, their environment and others. Many of the lessons are done individually allowing the child’s self indulgence stage of development to be respected.
The classrooms are spacious, well lit and aesthetically pleasing allowing a unique sense of curiosity for the child. Each Toddler class is filled with materials that are a diverse set of Montessori materials, activities and experiences. Students are encouraged to engage in social interactions with their peers and are given opportunities to explore and to manipulate materials both independently and in groups.
Happy, motivated children.
The goal of a CCMS CASA program is to develop a self-reliant, independent, confident individual that is able to problem solve and interact with appropriate social graces. The environment nurtures children to respect themselves, those they engage with and the world in which we live.

The CASA classrooms are very large, aesthetically pleasing and filled with many materials that are autodidactic and unique to the Montessori pedagogy. The materials are diverse and attractive and create a curiosity within the students enticing their learning.
The materials are designed to elicit the inhibition of movement, language development, fine motor and gross motor refinement development.
There are 5 areas within each classroom: Practical Life, Language, Math, Sensorial and Culture.
Within these areas all students regardless of their age are able to work independently or in small groups developing their academics and social awareness.
Develop confident, self-reliant learners who are prepared for future academic success and real-world interactions.

The summer program differs from the Montessori Curriculum taught from September through June, in that it is theme based, led by Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE’s) & allows families to enroll one week at a time.

Our summer program runs separately from the regular school year and is led by qualified Early Childhood Educators. Families can enroll on a weekly basis, making it flexible for summer schedules.
